Harkness State Park / Eolia Mansion in Waterford, Ct. has to be one of my favorite locations to shoot Wedding and Engagement Photography in Connecticut this time of year. It offers such diversity with its many locations and options. You can have the formal English Garden, the Dahlia Garden, the Exterior Mansion, the ocean, a boardwalk to the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, and a variety of trees, gates, and columns to work with. From now until Fall the garden flowers are peaking, and this year seems especially beautiful!! Here are some Ct. Picturesque Grassmere Country Club Enfield, Ct. Wedding Photography by Della Bella Photography

So, last January I was contacted by Chelsea and Matthew who live in South Africa, they ran across my website after doing a search in Connecticut for a wedding photographer. After an email or two we had a Skype appointment and they decided to book me for their Connecticut wedding at Grassmere Country Club in Enfield, Ct. They already we’re married at a vineyard in South Africa, but Chelsea is from Connecticut and wanted to share her day with family and friends that we’re unable to make it to South Africa.

I’m always amazed how the web can create opportunity and work all over the world for my wedding photography business. It is, what is so great about technology, the ability to reach people all over the planet!!

The Grassmere Country Club was a great location for Chelsea and Matthew’s wedding day in Enfield,Ct. The staff we’re so friendly, when I showed up to look at the grounds the owner said hey just go take a golf cart and drive around to scout the picturesque grounds, very friendly and low key!
